A landscape shaped by time
Long before it became a place of hospitality, Cap Menorca belonged to the landscape.
Stretching across thirty hectares of protected Mediterranean coastline and overlooking one km of untouched sea, the peninsula has been shaped for centuries by wind, stone and light. Pine forests, ancient olive trees and native vegetation have long defined its identity, while its elevated position has made it one of Menorca's most remarkable natural landmarks.
This secluded headland was once home to the former military base of Llucalari, a discreet presence that remained deeply connected to the character of the island. Following its military chapter, the site briefly became home to an ¨okupa¨ community, adding another unexpected layer to its history before eventually being abandoned.
For two decades, nature quietly reclaimed the peninsula. Buildings weathered under the Mediterranean sun, paths disappeared beneath native vegetation, and silence once again became the defining presence of the landscape.
Today, Cap Menorca continues to reflect that same balance between history and nature, where architecture never competes with the landscape but quietly becomes part of it.
